Fresh Veg Adventures for the New Year

Happy New Year - and thank you for signing up for news from Ginger Roots. We’ve got a couple of things to get 2021 started…

First, from 7th January we’re doing deliveries (every Thursday) to help keep you stocked up and eating well through the current restrictions and the cold weather.

Ginger Roots veg box selections have generated lots of interest, but we’ve only got one planet and so far - four wheels (we tried for a Del Boy and Rodney 3 wheeler but couldn’t get one in time) so we are asking your help to put together our delivery route plan so we can be as efficient as possible to save fuel.

If you’d like us to deliver anywhere a bit rural or distant from the city-centre, it would really help us if you put a wee shout out to community networks to see if any of your friends and neighbours might want to get a veg delivery too - of course it’s not obligatory and we will always do our best to deliver if collection from our Port Street shop isn’t practical for you. Our super simple fresh salsa recipe bags (try it - we promise you will never eat shop-bought salsa again!) are coming next week. We’ll add our fresh salsa bags to the website later this week but if you prefer you can always pick one up at our Port Street Shop – available from Saturday 9 January for a very limited time so get in quick!
